Currently based in Lagos, Nigeria.
I started in marketing and communications, transitioned into engineering, and spent the years since building across fintech, foodtech, healthtech, edtech, energy, and enterprise telecom. Today I architect and tech-lead high-availability platforms serving millions of users, build AI systems with production-grade reliability, work with Vatrac Labs and BuildSelfAgency, and research Agentic AI at the University of Lagos. The common thread in all of it: I like being the person responsible for whether the system works.

(01) End-to-end ownership
I take systems from architecture through infrastructure to production, and I stay responsible for them after launch.
(02) Reliability as a discipline
Years in high-availability environments taught me to design for failure and that discipline carries into everything I build, including AI systems.
(03) Communication that survives translation
I came into engineering from communications, and it shows. I can explain a system to a boardroom and document it for the team maintaining it, in the same afternoon.
(04) Speed with judgment
I ship fast because I've built enough systems to know which corners can't be cut. Speed without that judgment is how production incidents get made.
My current research is on Agentic AI and their application to African economies, part of my masters in Information Technology (AI) at the University of Lagos.
Paper coming soon.

When I am not writing code, I am working with the team at Vatrac Labs and BuildSelfAgency.
